We thought nail art couldn’t get any more unusual after seeing 3D nails and the WTF-ness of bubble nail art, but we found an even more bizarre talon trend. Aquarium nails are made by layering and gluing together two fake nails, then filling the space between with glitter and water before sealing the edges with glue (learn more in this tutorial). While these are definitely a different kind of manicure than we’re used to seeing, we dig it — after all, they don’t get in the way any more than normal nails. We’d just be embarrassed if they sprung a leak!
