Consultants suggest changes to aquarium plan

A Massachusetts consulting firm is halfway through its feasibility study of a major aquarium project in Crystal River, and it is recommending some significant changes to the project.


ConsultEcon Inc., contracted by Art Jones and his nonprofit One Rake At Time group to conduct a $41,000 feasibility study on Jones’ conceptual $35 million aquarium, arrived in October to get a tour of the 1.3-acre lot between U.S. 19 and northern Cedar Cove on which Jones hopes to place the attraction.
